I’m a beginner and I’ve really enjoyed using this cotton mat. Not at all slippery compared to the PVC mat I started on, and it’s one of the few mats I’ve found with alignment markings. Good value and highly recommended!

The anti grip works really well. And the scent of the mat is pleasant!
I would have loved a bit more cushioning for my knees though. Just a personal preference, I guess. But overall, it’s good! 🙂

My new favorite mat!! Thoughtfully created for an intentional practice. I love the soft material, but the antislip bottom makes it very sturdy as well. The lines and dot design make it easy to space your body out on the mat and create consistent movements in your practice. Quick and easy to lay out as well as pick up and go.

Nice yoga mat with anti slip base, the white markings are also very useful for setting the postures during yoga.
Mostly anti slip but sometimes still slips – but overall lot better than ones i used before.
(To clarify – the base does not slip but legs in some difficult postures tend to slip a bit on top of the mat)
Also the jasmine flavor is a nice touch, it still persists after heavy usage of 2 weeks 🙂

I was looking for an eco-friendly option, but was skeptical about the grip of such Yoga mats and the cushioning they offer. After a lot of thought, I decided to go for the Juru Organic Anti-Slip Mat and boy, am I happy with my purchase.
The mat is made completely of natural materials and they even ship it in a cardboard box with NO plastic wrappings, which speaks to their commitment to the environment.
The mat is solidly made, looks beautiful and grips very well for medium-complexity flows, which I practise. You cannot expect the cushion of artificial-material mats, but you get used to it and will never feel the need to go back to foam mats.
I’ve been using it for 2 months now and highly recommend this mat.

I did a lot of research and finally bought this yoga mat. The allignment markings are very useful and also it’s anti slippery which is great! But I found the surface not very soft …so I found it painful for the knee during some asanas…it would be great if you can make the surface a bit more cushioned so that it will be more comfortable while doing asanas….

I love the Anti slip cotton yoga mat. I had been looking for some time for a cotton mat because I was tired of the ‘plasticky’ feeling of the Polyethylene mats. Some brands can be very expensive, though, so I was very happy to find this very affordable option, and after reading the positive reviews, I was encouraged to try it out: Not disappointed! I have tried the mat on normal tile floor and on my terrace, and it stays put during the asana flows without sliding on the floor. It is light weight, easy to carry and easy to clean. I recommend it!
